Data Security
Slater, Tenaglia, Fritz & Hunt utilizes state-of-the-art debt collection software and scanning technology to maximize debt recovery, secure data and provide client timely status updates and reporting on all of their collection accounts. Due to the sensitive and propriety nature of the information received from our creditor clients, the Firm utilizes a sophisticated and secure network that contains multiple firewalls and anti-virus protections. Client and firm data is also backed-up daily and stored on four onsite hard drives and two secured offsite data storage centers.
Debt Collection Software
The Firm utilizes Collection Legal Software (CLS), to streamline and automate the handling of collection accounts throughout the collection process. In leveraging this advanced legal collection software, the Firm has created a proprietary collection process that triggers collection calls from our Firm attorneys and team of non-attorney collection professionals to leverage each pivotal stage of the litigation process to expedite the recovery of client funds.
Bar-Coded Scanning Technology
Bar-coded scanning technology allows the Firm to operate in a paperless environment. All incoming and outgoing documents are scanned to their respective files and trigger account updates for attorney and client review. Scanning technology allows us to easily file documents electronically with the Court and forward documents to clients and adversaries at the push of a button.
Proprietary Reporting Application
The Firm’s custom and proprietary reporting application (that interfaces in live time with the Firm’s debt collection software) allows the Firm’s attorneys and managers to monitor all collection activities on each and every client file. This integration empowers our staff to review account histories and ensure compliance with our collection strategies. Our automated reporting application also enables our client’s to have timely status updates either daily through EDI interfaces or custom collection reports.
Online Payment Center & Accounting
All forms of electronic payments accepted over phone and through secure website. The Firm’s online payment center utilizes state-of-the-art FDCPA compliant virtual agent technology to assist debtors make payments on their account, negotiate a pre-approved payment plan or provide a reason for non-payment, which is then emailed to the Firm for review. Every payment received and dollar expended is recorded and reconciled on a file’s account card. Cash remittance reports are provided to client on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis with client funds being sent via wire or batch remit, depending upon client preference.
